It was explained how, through the Index of compliance with international standards, an editor can independently analyze and determine the prospects for development.

During the conference, the publishing strategy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the publication activities of domestic scientists, open access and copyright protection, systems for identifying subjects and objects of publishing were discussed.

The event was successful due to the concentration of the best experts in one place - chief editors and editorial board members, publishing experts, scholars and all those interested in the modern Ukrainian academic periodicals. The participants managed to discuss problematic issues; learn about best practices and experience; and find colleagues, cooperation with which will allow for the development of scientific journals and domestic science.
